Rich Ridings & Band – Supported by Freya – Sat 7th Nov 2009

October 27th, 2009 @   -  One Comment

Rich Ridings and Guy Jackson have been song writing for years but only recently decided form a band and gig the songs. Will Jackson joined on electronic drums, Daz on deep bass and finally John Crowther moved across from the blues camp to create Dave Gilmour style solos!
Original material is the ONLY way forward we believe, allowing our arrangements to use the full dynamic range of the full band. Guest vocalist adorn our gigs but it is Rich’s deep, expressive vocal that lingers in the brain as you work your way home.

In a nutshell – it’s John Martyn meets Pink Floyd via Richie Havens marinaded in a rock/folk sauce. Come and listen.

Freya will be supporting with her powerful vocals and original songs.
